Overview

Rui ("Are u in?") is a group coordination service that helps you plan activities with friends over SMS. By using Rui, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You create an account using your phone number. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Rui.

SMS messaging

Rui sends SMS messages to coordinate plans. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP to any Rui message. By inviting friends to a Roo, you confirm they are people you know personally and that they would expect to hear from you about group plans.

Purchases and refunds

Rui offers paid plans for additional roos. Purchases are processed through Stripe. If you cancel a roo before any participants respond, the roo credit is automatically refunded to your account. We do not offer monetary refunds for purchased roo credits.

Acceptable use

Rui is for coordinating real plans with people you know. Do not use Rui to send unsolicited messages, spam, or for any illegal purpose. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

AI-generated content

Rui uses AI to generate conversational messages and parse preferences. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated suggestions (venues, times, etc.) may not always be correct. You are responsible for confirming final plan details.

Limitation of liability

Rui is provided "as is." We are not liable for missed plans, incorrect suggestions, or SMS delivery failures. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.
